SRK is facing protests from Samajwadi Party workers outside his home in Mumbai. Several party activists, carrying banners and shouting slogans, gathered outside SRK's bungalow, Mannat, in suburban Bandra.
Amar Singh has reportedly forgiven SRK after being asked to do so by Gauri Khan, the actor's wife, but party supporters aren't satisfied.
President, Uttar Bharatiya Sangam, Ramashankar Tiwari says, "Shah Rukh Khan has insulted our leader by calling him a devil. We condemn this abusive language, and we demand an apology."
Samajwadi Party, however, denied it had anything to do with the protest.
SRK had in the awards ceremony also clarified that the comments were meant in "pure jest" and he did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings.
