Around 2004, another strong rumour doing the rounds was that of Priyanka Chopra's affair with Akshay Kumar. Apparently during this time Akki had even 'recommended' Priyanka's name to a few producers. after the success of "Andaaj"their affair got started.

The story goes that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were in Goa when there was a public spat which ended with Twinkle slapping Akki right across the face.
During this fracas, the one name that was reportedly heard repeatedly was that of…you guessed it…Priyanka Chopra. Of course, the story was later denied. But Akshay and Priyanka have not worked together since.
