A senior researcher, Atul Kumar Singh released his original work to prove his plagiarism charges against Nitish Kumar.
Claiming that he had submitted his research paper to the Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) which was later copied, he said, "I was shocked when I realised that the book was a copy of my research paper. I could have never in my wildest imagination think that the chief minister would use my work and claim it to be his."
In response to these allegations, Chief Minister's office said that Nitish was only endorsing the book 'Special Category Status - A Case for Bihar' brought out by the ADRI and had not authored it.
