Bal Thackeray Sachin Controversy

A day after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his two decades in cricket and after basking in all the adulations from all round the world, the Shiv Sena sent a nasty `gift’ to the little maestro in the form of a beamer.

Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna on Tuesday claimed that even though Bal Thackeray's criticism of Sachin Tendulkar inspired backlash from political leaders across the country, it found the support of Maharashtrians, reports said.

The Shiv Sena on Tuesday downplayed the Bal Thackeray-versus-Sachin Tendulkar row following a deluge of protests across the country.

Shiv Sena clearly does not know the meaning of being patriotic or loyal towards anything. Perhaps Bal Thackeray and his followers should look into their own behaviour, destroying media offices in Mumbai and Pune, before teaching Sachin Tendulkar what it meaning to be a citizen and honest human being.
