Amarinder Singh Marries Pakistani Woman

Amarinder Singh in Chandigarh denied the reports of affair but refused to take legal action against a vernacular newspaper which first carried the news based on Pak newspaper "Daily Jinha". He said that it was "stupidity on the part of newspaper".

Pakistani journalist and friend of former Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, Aroosa Alam, has said that reports regarding her so-called marriage with Capt Amarinder Singh had put her life in danger in Pakistan. “Anything could have happened to me following the appearing of that sort of stories”, she said. “However, as I have a good number of friends in Pakistan media, they supported me like anything to clarify my position in that country”, Aroosa added.
