Akshay Kumar's unbutton controversy at the Lakme Fashion Week created a stir, and it was not really good news. Akshay was supposed to be the showstopper for the ‘Unbuttone’ range of Levi’s jeans. According to the script, Akshay Kumar had to be unbuttoned by one of the models of the ramp. However, the Khiladi Kumar decided that his wife Twinkle Khanna should do the unbuttoning. Twinkle sitting in the front row did oblige, but the couple were slammed with obscenity charges.

Twinkle Khanna wife of Akshay Kumar was arrested by the Vakola police and released on a cash bail of Rs 950 late on Wednesday for accused obscene behavior at the Lakme Fashion Show held few days back.
Twinkle was with her lawyer Bhairav Choudhary when she surrendered. A huge crowd gathered outside the police station and it stayed for the couple of hours she spent at the Vakola police station.
Akshay Kumar also faces arrest on the same charges. Twinkle told police that Akshay was abroad on a professional assignment and would come to the police station to complete some legal paperwork as soon as he returns next week.
Film star Akshay Kumar was arrested by the police in Mumbai in connection with obscene behaviour in public during the recent Lakme India Fashion Week (LIFW), a senior police official said.
"We arrested him under Indian Penal Code Section 294, which deals with obscenity in public. Since it is a bailable offence, he was released on bail," said Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Arvind Mahabadhi.
There was a big controversy when he got his wife Twinkle Khanna to unbutton his jeans on the ramp. But this time Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar ensured that the same mistake was not repeated.
This time he sashayed down the ramp for Salman Khan’s “Being Human” show at the ongoing HDIL India Couture Week here. Dressed casually in slim fit jeans and a smart jacket with aviator glares, Akshay stopped on the ramp, posed in front of her and smilingly cautioned her not to unbutton his jeans again.
“I didn’t know that the gesture would create such an uproar. I don’t want to go to jail again, so no such retakes for that shot,” a smiling Twinkle told
