Megastar Amitabh Bachchan today said the controversy over his presence at a function here for the inauguration of the second phase of the Bandra-Worli sea link has been "manufactured".

A remark made in jest by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the recent Filmfare Awards have triggered a controversy. SRK had joked about Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, who is a very close friend of Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
