Through his advocate Sushan Kunjuram, Tak has said that he was shocked to hear the promos of the song Munni badnaam hui… “The vulgar item song shows girl called Munni indecently dancing… and one corrupt police officer who in his uniform sings Leh Hindustan hui darling tere liye,” Tak’s petition says. The petition adds that the producers, director and lyricist have jointly committed “mockery” of our nation, which is “highly objectionable” and “unpardonable”. Tak’s petition also said the Censor board has neglected and failed to discharge their duties by not noticing the “defaming” lyrics. The case is likely to be heard on August 30.
